LENEXA, Kan. (August 12, 2008) In historic downtown Overland Park, Kan., new housing options will bloom with next spring's flowers. Regions LLC announced today that it will break ground Thursday, August 14 on a $5.3 million, 22-unit infill townhome development bordered by 78th Street on the north, Conser Street on the east and Newton Street on the west.

Consistent with Overland Park's Vision Metcalf plan to revitalize commercial, residential and retail growth along a nine-mile stretch of the city's main corridor from Interstate 35 to 123rd Street, the Townhomes at Buckley Court will provide a vibrant, "walkable" lifestyle. Buckley Court prices will range from the $130,000s to the $290,000s and include exterior maintenance. First-time homebuyers who close on a unit before July 1, 2009, may qualify for a $7,500 tax credit provided for in the new housing bill President Bush recently signed.
